"8 Gifts you can use to inspire others" The
Gift of listening...but you must really listen.
No interrupting, no daydreaming, no planning your response.
Just listen. The Gift of Affection...Be generous
with appropriate hugs, kisses, pats on the back and
handholds. Let these small actions demonstrate the love
you have for family and friends. The Gift of Laughter...Clip
cartoons. Share articles and funny stories. Your gift
will say, "I love to laugh with you." The
Gift of a written note...It can be a simple, "Thanks
for the help" note or a full sonnet. A brief, handwritten
note may be remembered for a ifetime, and may even change
a life. The Gift of a Compliment...A simple
sincere, "You look great today," "You
did a super job" or "That was a wonderful
performance" can make someone's day. The
Gift of a Favor...every day, go out of your way
to do something kind. The Gift of Solitude...There
are times when we want nothing better than to be left
alone. Be sensitive to those times and give the gift
of solitude to others. The Gift of Cheerful Disposition...The
easiest way to feel good is to extend a kind word to
someone, really it's not that hard to say, "Hello"
or "Thank You."

to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection
of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate
beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world
a bit better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life
has breathed easier because you have lived; this is
to have SUCCEEDED!"~unknown

"Attitude The longer I live, the more
I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude,
to me, is more important than facts. It is more important
than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances,
than failures, than successes, than what other people
think or say or do. It is more important than appearance,
giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a
church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice
every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for
that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change
the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot
change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play
on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am
convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90%
how I react to it."~unknown
"This is what I've worked for, This
is why I'm here. There's no turning back,
I have no fear."~unknown
